On April 29, 2026, at PTSC’s Energy and Technical Logistics Industrial Center, Petrovietnam Technical Services Corporation (PTSC), together with its member unit, PTSC Mechanical & Construction Co., Ltd. (PTSC M&C), in coordination with the Operator, Phu Quoc Petroleum Operating Company (PQPOC), held a ceremony celebrating “The achievement of 5 million safe work hours and officially launched an emulation campaign to accelerate completion of key CPP Topside construction milestones for the Block B Gas Field Development Project”. The event was a flagship activity in response to the 2026 “Workers’ Month” and “Occupational Safety and Health Action Month,” and was also part of PQPOC’s HSE Award and Incentive Program.
Attending on behalf of PQPOC were Mr. Conliffe Richard William – Project Manager; Mr. Phan Hong Hai – Delivery Manager, Mr. Nguyen Tien Loi – HSE Manager, Mr. Duong Dinh Long – Construction Manager, along with approximately 60 members of the Project Management Team. Representing PTSC were Mr. Tran Hoai Nam – Deputy General Director, Manager of the Project; and Mr. Nguyen Khac Dung – Deputy Manager of the Industrial Division, Deputy Manager of the Project. Also present were representatives from McDermott, leaders from PTSC subsidiaries, subcontractors, partners, and approximately 1,500 engineers, supervisors, and workers directly engaged in executing the EPCI#1 package.
