LNG Thi Vai Project

The Thi Vai LNG Terminal Project is one of Vietnam’s key LNG infrastructure projects, developed by Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) in the Cai Mep – Thi Vai area of Ba Ria – Vung Tau Province. Phase 1 of the project has a receiving and regasification capacity of approximately 1 million tonnes of LNG per year, with an LNG storage capacity of 180,000 m³, contributing to diversifying the national gas supply and enhancing energy security. In Vietnam, PTSC participated in the project through a consortium with Samsung C&T, serving as the EPC Contractor responsible for engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning of the facility.
